The HRA Special Delivery Alert Service
The Gold Standard for Resource Stock Analysis
HRA-Special Delivery (or "SD") is the Premium service level of HRA. (SD subscribers receive the HRA Dispatch and the HRA Journal at no extra charge)
In addition to subscriptions to the HRA Journal and HRA Dispatch, traders and high net worth individuals who have subscribed to the SD get access to 30-40 Alerts per year. Most companies added to the HRA list appear first in the SD and are discussed in greater detail in the dispatch and Journal later. SD subscribers also receive Alerts on a number of situations that are not covered in other HRA publications.
The table below is a complete listing of companies where coverage was initiated in the SD during 2005 and 2006. As good as that track record is, it only tells part of the story.
Triple Digit Gains on new Coverage - But that's Only Part of the Story As good as the gains listed above are, the SD is not just about seeing HRA list companies first. One of the most important aspects of an Alert service is the lack of a set publishing schedule. Alerts are news driven. When HRA spots a new discovery or an unnoticed situation or trend changing results on an existing HRA list company, SD subscribers hear about it.
This is where the extensive experience of Eric and David Coffin really shows. When important new results arrive that can fundamentally change the way the market values a company they follow they analyse it, decide if it will generate a trading opportunity then let SD subscribers know about it if they think its worth their attention.
SD subscribers get Alerts with actionable discussion of the news, information they can use to trade more effectively and profitably.
The HRA Special Delivery service isn't cheap but it is a great value. Readers who know how to trade can pay for an annual subscription many times over off a single Alert. It's not for everyone, but if you are a trader or high net worth investor, it's invaluable.
Look at the examples below to see how the HRA Special Delivery helped generate profitable trades for its readers. Note that three of the four examples represent additional gains to the 2005-2006 record outlined in the table above.
Example 1: HRA was already following this silver explorer and had seen gains in the triple digits, but its price had settled after some disappointing drill results. The company released the first independent resource estimate for one of its projects in mid-October. HRA immediately recognized the resource as and upside surprise that could turn the company's market around. SD #282 went out that day with the stock at $0.65. Two months later it was trading at $1.30.
Example 2: Another silver company. The stock had done very well for HRA subscribers but was about to do a lot better. When very high grade results were released from one drill program, HRA understood how significant they could be. SD #257 was issued immediately and soon afterwards the stock started to climb, doubling in three months. A couple of months later the first drill hole results were issued from another project and HRA was on it again. Another SD laying out the potential and explaining why the JV partner would accelerate the program. That's just what they did. The stock traded strong volumes for a couple of days then moved up again, yielding another 100% plus up leg for SD readers.
Example 3: This company was totally ignored by the market when HRA found it. They were the first analysts to cover it, as they often are. In this case, the Coffins knew about the specialty metal the company produced and knew it had been rocketing in price. HRA sent off an Alert to SD subscribers before financials were released that would tip off the market to the Company's change in fortunes. The company was introduced to Journal subscribers a month later. As predicted, other analysts and news outlets picked up on the story and which lead to a major re-rating of the share price. The stock tripled in two months, gained 900% in seven months and is still making profits and trading 400% above the SD price.
Example 4: This is the most recent SD addition at the time the web page was updated. There are SD subscribers across the globe. The Coffins try and send off most SDs outside of market hours to give all readers a level playing field but sometimes you just have to act quickly. That's what HRA did with this stock. Twice. When the company announced an impressive drill intersection that looked to HRA like it could be a new bulk tonnage copper gold discovery they were quick to get the news to SD subscribers. After meeting with management, seeing the drill core and confirming drilling would resume quickly they issued another SD the next day which increased the rating on the company to a strong spec buy. The market agreed. The stock more than doubled on large trading volume in just 12 trading sessions!
The above table and examples make clear (and they are only a partial list of the large wins) that the HRA Special Delivery Alert service generates some big wins. Not every Alert does that well of course. In fact, a number of the Alerts issued each year will serve as updates of existing companies when there isn't big news to report. Some of them will also comment on market or geopolitical events that can have a short term impact on your entire portfolio.
Even with the potential for big wins, the SD is not for everyone. Its best suited to those who trade fairly actively and monitor their investments closely. If you are looking for superior ideas that are suited to accumulation and have longer timelines then the Journal or Dispatch may be the best choice.
But, if you know how to take advantage of well timed market intelligence that can reap big gains then the SD is for you.
One Final - and Important Note. The SD like any Alert service, is often issued at important points in a company's history and inflection points in its trading activity. Its important that the SD subscriber list does not grow to the point where it becomes a "self fulfilling prophesy". It's equally important that it not grow to the point where it becomes impossible to cover anything but the larger companies in the sector without generating over large price swings. For that reason, HRA closely monitors the trading activity of new additions to the SD company list. When they determine there is too much trading activity to ensure SD subscribers are getting good buy prices the SD list will be closed to new subscribers. It hasn't reached that point yet but it is a popular service so the cut off could come at any time. When it does, HRA will set up a "first come, first served" waiting list for SD subscriptions. Avoid disappointment and order today.
