It wasn’t just talk.  While others abandoned the sector in late 2008, we added precious/base metal developer Nevsun to the HRA Special Delivery Alert list in October at 60 cents, and followed that up with a full scale Review in the HRA Journal at $1.28 in February.  Nevsun is now fully financed to production and trading at $2.19– a 265% gain for Special Delivery Alert subscribers and a 71% gain for Journal readers. In March, we told SD subscribers about an iron ore developer that is now up 140%.  In early April, we gave Journal readers a major updated buy on one of our favorite copper producers.  That stock has doubled too. And SD Alert subscribers got word of Teck Corp. (TCK) successfully renegotiating its debt agreements within minutes of it crossing the wires. Teck’s share price has since tripled.

When the crowd started to notice base metals were not dead, we started getting cautious, and looking for gold stories.  We suggested readers close out their position in First Quantum (FM-T), our long time favorite copper producer – at a 3000%+ profit. Others were focusing on small scale gold producers, but we could see risk money coming back to the market. We thought it was time for our readers to be in well managed, well-funded gold exploration stories with exceptional projects.  From March to June, we introduced four new gold explorers to our readers.  Those four companies have generated an average gain of 205%, to date!
